I became a Registered massage therapist in 2001 and have been practicing for 19 years. During this time I have learnt different modalities to add to my massage practice such as yoga, traditional Thai yoga massage, Indian head massage, hot stone, Thai stem massage, and Cupping just to name a few. I have worked in both the spa and clinical setting. I have enjoyed them both equally. In the spa the treatments primarily focused on relaxation, aromatherapy, and body treatments such as detoxifying wraps and scrubs, and in the clinic the focus is on MVA’s, chronic pain, deep tissue massage, stretching, cupping and hydrotherapy. By having the experience and knowledge from working in these two settings I am able to come up with treatment plans that best suits each client.
